Overview
We are seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician With minimum of 3-5 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in various field service environments. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- maintain, and repair air conditioning and heating systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system designs and layouts.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Sodder components as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must already be licensed or know someone that is licensed.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a focus on field service.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, heating units, ventilation processes, and related technologies.
- Ability to read schematics and design plans effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving a van is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Preferred 3+ years experience
- EPA Universal certification
- Ability to learn and understand products that help prevent and create a better comfort level for our customers, as well as communicate with the homeowner positively
