Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including team management, food service, and kitchen management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor costs to ensure profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor staff on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and finance to achieve business objectives
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of food service industry practices and standards
- Proficient in food safety regulations and procedures
- Experience in hotel or restaurant management preferred
- Excellent cash handling skills and ability to manage financial transactions accurately
- Knowledge of kitchen management techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Passion for coffee and ability to create a positive coffee shop experience for customers
