As a Lumber Yard / Forklift Operator, you’ll be part of a team that works side-by-side with customers and coworkers to help them get the job done right.
Yard/Forklift Operators
- Build and stage customer orders for lumber and building materials
- Safely operate forklifts (will train the right candidate)
- Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles in a safe, efficient manner
- Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy and damage
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe, including stacking and storing materials
- Provide friendly, helpful service to contractors and DIY customers
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and use required PPE
Drywall Stockers
- Carry drywall inside buildings
- Spread drywall throughout the building based on customer's requests
- Stock product with use of a boom truck
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Overtime opportunities as business needs require
What We’re Looking For
- Prior forklift or lumber yard experience preferred, but we’re willing to train motivated candidates
- Ability to lift, carry, and move lumber and building materials throughout the shift (often 50+ lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Eligible to work in the United States
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $50,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience
