Summary: Responsible for efficiently and safely moving materials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Moves material to and from various locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or Forklift equipment.

Pack labels and palletize materials as necessary.

Loads and unloads materials from common carriers and verifies shipping / receiving information.

Records inventories as required.

May dispense contract work to individual work department sites.

Performs other activities as requested.
Education and Experience:

Basic English communication skills and ability to perform basic calculations; sufficient primary education to understand and follow standard practices and instructions.
- Minimum of one year of experience in operating a forklift.
- The level of knowledge is generally below high school.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Qualifications: Must lift over 50 pounds, bend, and move materials as required.
Language Skills: Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus.
Mathematical Skills: Must be able to perform basic calculations.
Physical Demands: Must lift over 50 pounds, bend, and move materials as required. Able to stand and walk for long periods.
Appearance/Personality: Organized, Dependable, and takes pride in the job.
Work Environment: Able to work in a noisy factory or manufacturing environment, withstand heavy traffic, and tolerate floor vibrations.
