Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Maintenance Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year property maintenance or similar experience. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Property Maintenance Employee will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining curb appeal and optimizing the life and value of all Housing Authority Properties.
- Basic knowledge and/or experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and Grounds Maintenance.
- Perform repair and maintenance services to housing units.
- Deliver courteous service to residents and guests.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems.
- Assist with moving appliances such as refrigerators and stoves and other heavy items.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Provide corrective and preventative maintenance duties and special projects to maintain and enhance the Housing Authorities residential properties.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal facility operations.
