Oxford Pre-Op and Imaging Center is currently seeking a MRI/CT Tech to join full-time, Monday-Friday.
JOB SUMMARY
The MRI/CT Tech plays a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced outpatient setting while ensuring an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring comfort and safety
- Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety and contraindications
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards
- Administer contrast materials in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols, when applicable
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with radiologists, providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns promptly
- Ensure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment for patients
- Maintain radiographic/CT supplies, images, and orders, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification required
- MRI certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous MRI and/or CT experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
