Home Care Aide – Part-Time (Northridge, CA)
4-Hour Shifts | Tuesday WednesdayThursday | 12PM–4PM
About the Position:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Home Care Aide/ Home Maker to assist a lovely, independent couple in their home in Northridge. This is a light-support role focused on maintaining a clean, comfortable home and assisting with simple daily tasks.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (12 hours/week total)
Responsibilities:
- Grocery pick up (must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle)
- Putting away groceries and organizing.
- Checking expiration dates on groceries and throwin them away.
- Light housekeeping:
- Making the bed
- Mopping bathroom and kitchen floor
- Washing dishes / emptying dishwasher
- Taking out the trash daily, bringing in trash bins once week after garbage pick up.
- Laundry (washing, drying, folding and putting away)
- Preparing one lunch (shared between two)
- Companionship: Provide active conversation, accompany client on walks, and offer emotional support.
Requirements (Must Have):
- Reliable vehicle for errands
- Valid driver’s license
- Active car insurance
- Home Care Aide Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check (Live Scan)

- Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor
- Experience in caregiving or housekeeping preferred
- Able to work independently
