Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for daily operations

- Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items to the kitchen team
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain a clean work environment by regularly sanitizing surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy service times
Skills
- Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food industry best practices
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing, cooking, and recipe adherence
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper use of kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety management protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Basic culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal prep methods
