Cafeteria Aide Job Description :
Our Lady of Fatima is seeking an hourly, part-time Cafeteria Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate works with the Lunch Manager to support the smooth functioning of the school’s lunch program. Primary responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving food for students and staff.
- Ensuring proper set-up and cleanup of the cafeteria and kitchen
- Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the school’s lunch program.
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:30am-1:00 pm (approximate)
Required Qualifications:
- Willingness to collaborate with the Lunch Manager, other cafeteria staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to communicate effectively and regularly with elementary students and staff.
- Sense of urgency and time management skills.
- Proper hygiene and the ability to follow health and sanitation requirements.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull boxes and materials up to 50lb.
- Safe Environments for Children - As with all positions that involve contact with children in the
- Diocese of Pittsburgh, this ministry comes under the Safe Environment Policy of the diocese which requires clearances, ie. criminal, child abuse history, fingerprinting, a Protecting God’s Children attendance certificate and a signed copy of the Code of Pastoral Conduct.
