Job Summary

Duties
- Assist customers in selecting construction rental equipment and researching construction equipment parts with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash or credit payments confidently
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, updating stock levels, and ensuring product availability
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure safety and efficiency in the counter area
- Support order fulfillment by preparing rental agreements, tracking returns, and coordinating with warehouse staff for timely pickups or deliveries
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette
Skills
- Knowledge of construction equipment and parts research to assist customers effectively
- Strong negotiation skills to upsell products and rental options while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Experience with inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar tools
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases with clear communication
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and sales calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking inventory data and sales reports
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain a tidy workspace
- Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions and build rapport with customers and team members

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
