Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures efficient execution of production schedules while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and lead production teams across processing and packaging lines
· Execute daily production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals
· Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and all food safety and regulatory standards
· Monitor and drive key performance metrics including OEE, downtime, throughput, and yield
· Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to troubleshoot equipment and production issues
· Lead, coach, and develop hourly employees; manage performance, attendance, and engagement
· Ensure proper staffing levels and labor utilization to meet production needs
· Lead shift start-up meetings and communicate daily priorities and performance expectations
· Maintain accurate production records, reporting, and documentation
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies
· Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on the production floor
Qualifications
· High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production environments
· Experience in high-speed processing and/or packaging operations
· Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, SQF, or similar food safety standards
· Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-line production environment
Preferred Experience
· Background in food & beverage, CPG, or regulated manufacturing environments
· Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM)
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
