As the first and last impression of the restaurant, our Hosts set the tone. We’re seeking someone who radiates hospitality, loves connecting with people, and takes pride in going above and beyond for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and manage the seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Assist with reservations and ensure that all guest preferences are noted and accommodated.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, specials, and reservations.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience required, preferably in a polished, upscale, or fine-dining environment.
- 18+ years of age.
- A welcoming smile, professional demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm for guest service.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- The ability to anticipate needs, solve problems when they arise with ease and create a seamless dining experience.
- Good availability to work several shifts a week, lunch or dinner, including weekends.
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation and ordering platforms.
