Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for Cash or Check only
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to maximize sales
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom areas
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, especially in Thrift store environments, is highly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting light weights, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of Thrift store operations, customer service standards, and retail math principles
