Overview
Join our early childhood education team as an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning. In this role, you will lead a classroom dedicated to Toddlers (1-2 yrs old), fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Your will inspire curiosity, support early childhood development milestones, and promote a love of learning through teaching and compassionate care. Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Foster strong relationships with children and their families through clear communication and regular updates on progress and needs.
- Incorporate best practices to support children's needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of each child in accordance with mandated regulations and program policy standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and childcare regulations while promoting child welfare at all times.
Skills
- Experience with toddler care and early childhood development instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized, engaging learning environment.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, and implementing curriculum.
- Knowledge of early childhood education philosophies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists such as speech therapists.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey expectations and developmental feedback to families and team members.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and early intervention strategies.
- Classroom experience related to daycare settings is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
