Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in providing high-acuity care to medically complex patients. You will play a critical role in recovery and stabilization for patients transitioning from intensive care.
Duties
- Ventilator weaning
- Pulmonary care
- Advanced wound care
- Infectious disease management
- Post-COVID recovery support
- Brain injury rehabilitation
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, document changes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and manage complex care plans.
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort needs.
- Educate patients and families on care needs and progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant care environment.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact State
- At least 1+ years of Acute Care nursing experience required
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Must be proficient with ventilators
- ICU experience is preferred
