This position plays an important role in providing convenient, friendly, and efficient curbside service while ensuring every order is accurate, and every member receives exceptional hospitality. Position Summary
The Curbside Associate is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and delivering takeout orders to members and guests utilizing the club's curbside service. This position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.As one of the first and last points of contact, the Curbside Associate helps create a positive and memorable experience while representing the professionalism and hospitality standards of Fawn Lake Country Club.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist members with placing food and beverage orders.
- Accurately enter orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Verify all orders for accuracy before delivery.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Deliver food and beverages safely to members utilizing curbside service.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Communicate wait times and provide updates when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked curbside workstation.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with light side work and support restaurant operations during slower periods.
- Provide exceptional service while resolving member concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer and Point-of-Sale (POS) experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for employment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent walking between the restaurant and curbside pickup area.
- Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and transport food safely.
