Job Description
We’re on the hunt for someone who’s pumped about pet nutrition, loves crushing sales goals, and has a knack for rallying a team to greatness. As our Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be a key part of our family, helping run our store and leading our small team to success in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep the Vibe Awesome: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a clean, inviting, and organized sales floor.
- Lead with Heart: Inspire, train, and motivate our small team to deliver exceptional customer service and hit ambitious sales targets.
- Spread the Pet Love: Assist customers in selecting the perfect products and promote our grooming services with enthusiasm.
- Stay Stocked & Stylish: Monitor inventory and create eye-catching merchandising displays to make our store shine.
- Open & Close Like a Pro: Manage store opening and closing procedures with precision and care.
- Weekend Warrior: Work one weekend day per week to keep the pet party going strong!
Qualifications
- Leadership Swagger: Previous assistant manager experience with a proven ability to lead a team to success.
- Customer Service Superstar: A passion for connecting with people and making their day (and their pets’ day) brighter.
- Pet Nutrition Nerd: Serious about pet health and eager to share your knowledge with customers.
- Organized & Ready: Dependable, able to multitask, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic technology, including POS systems and scheduling software.
- Animal Adorer: A genuine love for pets and their care is non-negotiable!
