What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll travel to customer locations to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized medical equipment.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Performing installations, FMI- Field modification ( recalls ) , and upgrades on medical equipment, such as Maternal Infant Care products – Fetal monitors, and Giraffe OmniBeds.
- Conducting calibration, testing, and performance verification
- Installing and configuring new equipment and system upgrades
- Completing software updates and warranty repairs on Maternal Infant Care products.
- Managing work orders and documenting service activities using ServiceMax
- Following the dispatch teams' leads to complete service visits ( FMIs and installations)
- Providing professional on-site support to healthcare clients

Ideal candidates have:
- Strong mechanical or technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfort working independently in field environments
- Must be willing to travel 100 % by air or via vehicles.
Qualifications
Option 1
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2–4 years of technical, mechanical, or field service experience
OR
Option 2
- Associate degree or technical/trade school certification
- 1+ year of technical experience (including internship or apprenticeship)
Additional requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of liability insurance
- Ability to operate personal or rental vehicles
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on field service role that includes:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling
- Use of diagnostic tools and small hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment up to 125 lbs
- Regional day and overnight travel
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
