We are hiring Handyman/Maintenance Tech for shopping centers located in Sarasota and Venice, FL. Full-time position that requires you to work outdoors at the shopping centers we manage. Must speak English, be able to climb ladders, send/receive email and have a reliable truck. $500.00 sign-on bonus to be paid $250.00 on your second payroll check and an additional $250.00 after 90 days of employment.
Salary: $18.00/hour plus overtime and benefits including health insurance.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm.

General maintenance duties: check roofs for blistering/signs of leaks, gutter cleaning/maintenance, etc. Responsible for resolving maintenance issues by utilizing your own skills and tools. Document all maintenance activities and report on maintenance needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to, electrical repairs, replace light bulbs/ballasts, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, stucco/drywall repairs, concrete repairs, water proofing work, painting, irrigation repairs, and general cleaning.
- Clean up vacancies to show condition (discard trash, furniture, fixtures and equipment left by tenants, drywall repair, drop ceiling repair, painting, electric repair, plumbing repair, HVAC repair/maintenance and general cleaning). Monitor to keep in show condition (inspect for issues, clean floors, remove dead insects, flush toilet, run HVAC, have soap, paper towels and toilet paper in bathrooms).
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the shopping centers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical and mechanical systems. Tasks include electrical repairs, replace light bulbs/ballasts, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, stucco/drywall repairs, concrete repairs, water proofing work, painting, irrigation repairs, and general cleaning.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Document all maintenance activities and report on maintenance needed.
- Ensure the buildings and grounds are being kept in a first-class condition
- Document all maintenance activities.
