We are seeking an entry-level Functional Safety Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of our autonomous robotic vehicles.
The role involves identification of hazards and risks using Systems Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA), supporting definition of requirements, and implementing measures throughout the product development lifecycle.
The Functional Safety Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into the design, development, verification, and validation of our technologies, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Your Impact:
Lead the design and deployment of AI-native operational programs to drive strategic alignment and AI-first transformation initiatives across Company Design.
Develop standardized operating procedures, scalable frameworks, and repeatable design processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and organizational resilience.
Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to operationalize systems that enable high-quality design and research delivery at scale.
Drive community-building, onboarding, internal communications, and team engagement initiatives to strengthen culture, visibility, and collaboration across the organization.
Build shared guardrails, operational best practices, and scalable workflows that help position the team at the forefront of AI-enabled design operations.
Minimum qualifications(Must Have):
4+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, design operations, or related cross-functional roles
Experience developing and implementing standardized operational processes, SOPs, or scalable workflow frameworks
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within global or matrixed organizations
Experience supporting AI transformation, operational excellence, or organizational change initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting design, research, product, or other highly cross-functional organizations
Experience leading or contributing to AI-related transformation, adoption, enablement, or operational improvement initiatives
Experience identifying practical opportunities to AI across planning, workflows, documentation, or team operations
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in fast-paced environment
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $27.74/hour - $43.34/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
