American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience.

19-bed Labor & Delivery unit
-
Patient ratios of 1:2
-
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
On-call requirement of 12 hours within a 6-week scheduling period
-
Uses Epic EMR
-
Floating required, with travelers floating first, including possible floats to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
-
Active FL or compact RN license required
-
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
-
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class required (Advanced course and EFM certification preferred)

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Must be able to manage high acuity patients
-
Degree accreditation must be on file or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation documentation

Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Care for high acuity L&D patients within a fast-paced unit
-
Travelers are integrated into the unit and expected to function as core staff

Scrub color requirement: Galaxy Blue and/or White
-
Orientation begins on a Friday, including an in-person visit for badge and ID
-
All RTO must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve time off after submission

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
-
Facility strictly verifies residency and property ownership within the radius
-
Facility values flexibility and a strong team-player mentality

First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
