Position Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a physically active position that involves preparing live fish orders, packing shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Catch and prepare live fish for customer orders
- Safely pack fish for overnight shipping
- Move, stack, and organize boxes throughout the warehouse
- Receive and stock incoming inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow proper handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of live animals
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs regularly
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with fish or aquariums is a plus, but not required
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting, bending, walking, and standing throughout the day.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
