Pay Rate: $45–$48/hour
Travel: 95% travel
Schedule: Monday–Friday, including frequent overnight travel

Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Field Implementation Specialist to provide post-sales customer support during the installation, implementation, validation, and training of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/instruments at customer sites.
The Field Implementation Specialist will serve as a primary customer liaison throughout implementation projects, providing onsite advisory support, troubleshooting, training, and coordination. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that requires independence, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.
This is a field-based position requiring approximately 95% travel, with overnight travel Monday–Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer support representative throughout customer implementation projects.
- Support the installation and implementation of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/instruments.
- Validate analyzer installations and ensure systems are properly implemented and functioning as expected.
- Assess customer workflows, organizational structures, instrumentation, and existing knowledge to identify training needs.
- Develop and deliver training to customers on platforms, processes, procedures, and implementation expectations.
- Plan and coordinate implementation activities from installation through customer readiness.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and problem resolution for customer issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Identify opportunities for additional system consumables and solutions, including reagents, antibodies, biomarkers, and software.
- Manage schedules, priorities, and travel requirements independently.
- Provide onsite advisory and implementation support at customer locations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory or IT support within a clinical laboratory environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 95%, including overnight travel Monday–Friday.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASCP certification preferred.
- Experience with clinical laboratory analyzers, instrumentation, or laboratory IT.
- Experience with clinical chemistry and/or immunoassay systems.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to rapidly learn and apply new technical knowledge and solutions.
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Comfortable working independently as a field-based individual contributor.
Location & Travel

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
