Job Summary
Best ABT (www.teambest.com) is seeking an experienced Engineer to provide required technical expertise in order to achieve the proper operating parameters necessary to successfully perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of the Biomarker Generator (BG) accelerator, chemistry, and quality control systems. The job includes parameter testing and systems troubleshooting of equipment to process problems prior to performing FAT and SAT in order to optimize and ensure system efficacy and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years production and/or technical support experience
- Thorough knowledge of PET radioisotope production accelerators, chemistry, and quality control systems
- Ability to use standard electronic test and measurement instruments (DVM, oscilloscope, micrometer, and computer)
- Ability to read and correctly interpret various engineering documents (schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures)
- Experience working with high voltage and low-level radiation producing equipment
- Excellent communication skills including speaking, writing, and listening
- Ability to work cohesively within team environment and independently
- Ability to respond and react in high pressure situations and efficiently identify root causes to technical issues
- Ability to identify trends and work cross-functionally with the research and development and manufacturing teams to continuously improve the company’s products
- Flexibility, adaptability, and possibly some travel required
