Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Part-time Shuttle Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods within designated routes, ensuring timely and courteous service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including buses, limousines, or other commercial vehicles, along specified routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers, providing clear updates and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as loading or unloading luggage or cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Experience
- Prior shuttle driving experience or background as a delivery driver, bus driver, or in paratransit services is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Experience with heavy lifting and vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and safety protocols related to school bus driving or limousine services is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL or <PERSON> driver certification).
