Duties
- Perform precise eyelash extension applications tailored to each client’s eye shape and desired look, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, recommend suitable lash styles, and explain aftercare procedures clearly.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to strict sanitation protocols, including sterilization of tools and equipment.
- Promote additional services such as lash lifts, brow shaping, or other aesthetic treatments to enhance client satisfaction and increase retail sales.
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring efficient flow of client bookings.
- Engage with clients via social media management platforms to showcase work, promote special offers, and build a loyal customer base.
- Assist with product demos and retail sales of lash care products, cosmetics, and skincare items to maximize revenue opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience in eyelash extension application with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and techniques.
- Background in the beauty industry with knowledge of esthetic laser treatments, dermal fillers, chemical peels, or botulinum toxin treatments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients on procedures, aftercare, and product recommendations.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced salon or med spa environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and infection control practices essential for maintaining a safe treatment environment.
- Additional skills such as makeup application, hair styling or hair extensions are advantageous but not required.
