- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable and cash handling procedures
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling and serving areas
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining a tidy dining environment to support kitchen operations and guest experience
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including roles such as host/hostess or server, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build guest rapport
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
- Experience in fine dining or nightlife settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
