Position Overview
Our management team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support the monthly close process for a fast-paced, multi-location fast-food franchise operation. This position will work closely with the CFO to maintain accurate financial records, support day-to-day accounting operations, and contribute to process improvements that promote the company’s continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Verify and reconcile daily cash receipts and deposits across multiple locations.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial close activities.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
- Assist with annual audit activities and tax preparation.
- Support the CFO with ongoing accounting and financial reporting needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and assist with implementing operational changes.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional accounting duties as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, Education
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and month-end closing procedures.
- Restaurant, retail, or multi-location accounting experience is a plus.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong teamwork and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sage/MAS 100 accounting software.
- Experience working in a restaurant or multi-location franchise environment.
- Familiarity with cash management and daily sales reconciliation processes.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
