Caregiver Needed – Millington, TN
Home in the Heart Healthcare Agency is currently seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional caregiver to assist a male veteran client in Millington, TN.
This position is ideal for someone experienced with mobility assistance, transfers, and providing hands-on support while maintaining client dignity and safety.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist client with safe mobility and transfers
- Assist client getting in and out of transportation for dialysis appointments
- Provide standby assistance and supervision during mobility activities
- Assist with dressing and personal care as needed
- Support client with ambulation using rollator/wheelchair
- Monitor for fall risks and maintain a safe environment
- Provide light companionship and support
- Report any concerns or changes in condition to agency promptly
Client Overview:
- Male client
- Mobility limitations and weakness
- Uses rollator and wheelchair
- Dialysis patient
- Transportation is provided separately
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
11 Hours Weekly
Pay:
Starting at $18/hour based on experience and reliability
Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Experience assisting with transfers and mobility strongly preferred
- Patient, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Reliable communication and attendance required
