We are looking for reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for picking up various items (up to 40 lbs 1 item) from our storage facility and delivering them to restaurants across Manhattan, New Jersey, Long Island, Bronx, and Brooklyn.
Work Schedule:
- Deliveries are optimally conducted every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. However, other days may be offered based on operational needs so we would appreciate your availability during all week.
- Working hours range from 10 hours per week.
- Weekly mileage may reach up to 600 miles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting boxes with inventory from storage facilities.
- Keeping track of stock levels.
- Delivering boxes with inventory to restaurants across Manhattan, New York State, New Jersey, and Connecticut (with occasional deliveries to nearby cities for an additional fee).
- Managing and organizing Inventory in Storage Units and at workstations (filling out inventory forms, keeping the storage area organized, reporting delivered equipment to storage, sending pictures of equipment, and conducting inventory of all equipment in storage).
- Providing video documentation of the delivery process and ensuring accurate completion of goods acceptance forms.
- Small equipment repairs.
- Assisting with new restaurant openings (including assembling and delivering stations, equipment installation, etc.).
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Capable of handling regular road demands.
- Ability to navigate efficiently through service areas.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in delivery or driving is preferred but not required.
- Acceptance of material liability for items being transported.
- High attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Spacious car to fit large equipment
