Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on residential jobs transforming raw structures into polished, functional spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and installation will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets project specifications and client expectations. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and moldings with accuracy and attention to detail
- Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute finishing tasks correctly
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking and carpentry tasks safely and efficiently
- Perform surface preparation including caulking, plastering, sanding, and painting to achieve smooth finishes
- Install fixtures such as lighting, hardware, and appliances while ensuring proper alignment and functionality
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure adherence to safety standards and craftsmanship excellence
- Assist with restoration projects involving water damage remediation, stucco application, siding installation, or masonry work as needed
Skills
- Extensive experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and finish work
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise execution of tasks
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders, CNC machines) for woodworking and assembly
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist with project planning and material procurement
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols related to power tool use and heavy lifting
- Familiarity with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, drywall, rebar for concrete forming or rebar installation
- Ability to perform metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, door hanging, siding application or fixture installation with precision
- Experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus for versatile project support
