Patriot Manufacturing Group has an immediate need for an experienced fitter/welder for its Fabricating and Welding Division. Candidate must possess the following skills:
· Flux core mig welding: must pass 3G vertical up weld test prior to employment
· Excellence in flux core welding is a must.
· Ability to read blue prints including weld symbols
· Must have: Ability to “fit-up” jobs from blue prints and sketches
· Good math skills
· Working knowledge of welding machines, OH cranes and general shop equipment
· Must be able to grind product to the proper finish to meet customer requirements
· Tig welding is a plus.
Job requirements
· Minimum 2 years fitting & welding experience
· Ability to handle a wide variety of assignments
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent work history and attendance
· Must be willing to work offsite occasionally
· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test & “fit to work” physical
· Employment is full time
· Pay scale is commensurate with level of experience ($20 to High 20’s)
