We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to ensure spotless surfaces.
- Handle cleaning tasks across various hotel areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms, adhering to established sanitation protocols.
- Assist with Trash removal, parking lot clean up an general outdoor maintenance
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment to support housekeeping operations efficiently.
- Operate cleaning equipment effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working order for optimal performance.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by coordinating cleaning schedules, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or emergencies related to cleanliness or safety procedures, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including vacuuming, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations such as SDS guidelines.
- Skilled in the operation of various cleaning equipment and tools used in commercial or hotel settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, manual handling tasks, and frequent movement throughout the property.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during unforeseen incidents or hazards.
