Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Operate dishwasher and manual cleaning station to ensure all cookware, utensils, glassware, and dishware are spotless and sanitized.
- Assist with basic kitchen preparation tasks.
- Support food production by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and ensuring all surfaces meet safety standards in food handling and sanitation.
- Handle kitchen tools safely and with care.
- Manage the disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of dishware and cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is key.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation equipment operation are advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care.
- Ability to manage your station independently to stay on task and work efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production environments, including proper food handling practices is valued. Paid training can be provided.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
- Strong team player with communication skills. Customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
