Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Our Family-Focused Estate Planning Law Firm
Would you love to help families in our community do the right thing for the people they love?
Are you extremely detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and committed to getting things done correctly and on time?
Do you take pride in following instructions precisely, keeping things in order, and supporting a team so clients receive an excellent experience?
If so, you might be the key team member we are seeking.
The Law Offices of Chris Pryor, PLLC is a family-focused estate planning law firm in Dallas. Our mission is to transform families for generations by creating plans that accomplish our clients’ goals without conflict or unnecessary time in court.
We are seeking a sharp, dependable, friendly Administrative Assistant to become part of our team for the long term.
This is an hourly position for 20-24 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. Starting hourly rate will be $16-19/hour based on experience.
Our office is in the Lakewood area of Dallas. This position is 100% in-office and is not remote or hybrid. You will be expected to work during normal business hours, but we will offer some flexibility with the exact days and hours you spend in the office.
About the Role
This is a hands-on administrative role focused on accuracy, organization, deadlines, and client service.
You will work closely with the Attorney and Client Services Director to make sure client plans are prepared, signed, scanned, uploaded, filed, assembled, shipped, and delivered with excellence.
Your work will help families complete life-changing planning that protects the people they love. While this role is primarily behind the scenes, you will still be part of the client experience by helping ensure every plan is delivered carefully, professionally, and on time.
We have established systems, checklists, and standards to help us serve clients well. We need someone who can follow those systems carefully, learn quickly, communicate clearly, and help our small team deliver excellent service without letting important details fall through the cracks.
Because we are a small team, you should be willing to help wherever you are able to help effectively. Some days that may mean preparing important client materials. Other days it may mean organizing files, restocking supplies, preparing the office for client meetings, or assisting with other administrative tasks that help the firm run smoothly.
Every task matters because every detail contributes to the client experience.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, reliable, honest, organized, teachable, and easy to work with. You should be comfortable following written instructions and checklists precisely, learning new systems, and completing work within established timeframes.
You should also be a good communicator and listener, calm under pressure, willing to receive feedback, and willing to take initiative when you see a task you can handle effectively.
Experience in a law firm, title company, real estate office, financial services, insurance, medical administration, executive assistance, or another detail-heavy administrative environment is helpful, but not required.
What matters most is that you care about accuracy, deadlines, client service, and being part of a team that does meaningful work.
Technology
You must be comfortable using technology and learning multiple systems. You will work with our online client vault, digital files, scanners, printers, office software, and other tools we use to serve clients and manage workflow.
You do not need to know our specific systems before you start, but you must be willing and able to learn them.
Why Join Us?
We are a small, mission-driven law firm that cares deeply about our clients and the families we serve.
You will be part of a team where your work matters, your attention to detail makes a real difference, and your reliability helps families complete planning that protects the people they love.
If you are looking for meaningful work in a professional, family-oriented environment where excellence matters, we would love to hear from you.
