What You'll Do:
As a Sevn-placed School SLP, you'll be a vital part of the student support team - helping children find their voice, build confidence, and access their education more fully. Your day-to-day will include:
- Deliver individualized, engaging speech-language therapy services to K–12 students across a range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and implement research-based, student-centered IEP goals and treatment plans in alignment with IDEA and Georgia state guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, occupational therapists, school psychologists, and other related service providers to support whole-child outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and eligibility determinations with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services, session notes, and student progress in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Build strong relationships with families, providing guidance and strategies to support communication development at home.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource within the school community on speech-language development and best practices.
What You'll Need:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Georgia SLP License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- ASHA Certification preferred, but not required
- Prior school-based experience is a plus - but motivated clinicians at any career stage are encouraged to apply
