Location: Lake Forest, CA
Compensation: $110,000 - $160,000
The Role
Join a firm where "Our Business Counts on Your Success." We are looking for a Tax Manager to provide high-quality, discreet, and efficient tax and consulting services. You will partner with individuals and businesses at every stage of their lifecycle, moving beyond standard compliance to provide in-depth planning and fiduciary-level support.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Tax Management: Lead the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and estates/trusts.
Strategic Advisory: Provide specialized consulting in business valuation, forensic accounting, and succession planning.
Industry Specialist: Apply specialized knowledge across a variety of sectors including Construction, Real Estate, Law Firms, and Hospitality.
Client Partnership: Act as a dedicated advisor, building long-term relationships through proactive cash flow management and financial planning.
Team Leadership: Supervise staff and ensure all engagements meet our rigorous standards of ethics and professionalism.
Requirements
Credentials: Active CPA license required; advanced degree in taxation or financial planning certification is a plus.
Experience: Previous background in a Big 4 or large regional firm environment is highly valued.
Skills: Expertise in QuickBooks setup and consulting, internal controls, and litigation support.
