Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic development.
- Lead classroom activities focused on toddler care, early intervention strategies, behavior management, and childhood development milestones.
- Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to uphold high standards of childcare and classroom management.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families about their child's progress, milestones, and any special educational needs or behavioral concerns.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with specialists in special education or child welfare when necessary to support children with additional needs or disabilities.
Experience

- Proven classroom experience working with children aged 2 years old in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Strong background in early childhood education with knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and sensory play.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers to foster positive behavior and engagement.
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, team members, and external specialists.
- Prior experience leading a classroom or team of educators in a licensed childcare or educational facility is preferred.
