This position is responsible for driving readiness for assigned clients by collecting information, coordinating next steps, maintaining momentum, and ensuring matters are prepared for efficient legal execution.
As one of the first hires within the readiness function, this role will operate in an evolving environment. While the primary focus is execution and client progression, the specialist will also help identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen processes, and shape how readiness is delivered as the function grows. The role works closely with the Director of Readiness & Engagement, who owns strategy, process design, and overall function leadership.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on execution and helping build a scalable operating model from the ground up.
Why This Role Matters
The Readiness Specialist is responsible for ensuring clients move efficiently through readiness while helping the firm develop a consistent, repeatable readiness experience.
Success requires strong execution, persistence, organization, and judgment. The person in this role will be expected to identify friction points, surface improvement opportunities, and contribute ideas that help the readiness function become more effective over time, while remaining accountable for the day-to-day execution of client readiness activities.

- Escalate legal questions, technical matters, and judgment-based decisions to attorneys as appropriate.
- Ensure client information is complete, accurate, and properly organized within firm systems.
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and internal teams to resolve readiness gaps efficiently.
- Identify recurring obstacles, workflow inefficiencies, and client friction points and recommend improvements.
- Partner with the Director of Readiness & Engagement to develop and refine readiness processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of scalable systems that improve consistency, client experience, and operational efficiency.
