New Beginning Homes is looking for a Direct Care Worker to work with one of our adolescent members in the home Mon-Thursday 9am-7pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a group home setting for members (including bathing, toileting and member oral care)
- Communicate with Nurse and co-workers about changes in patient's condition including vital signs, behavioral and physical symptoms.
- Able to respond to changes in patients behavioral status
- Keep members routine schedule such as medications and appointments.
- Transport member to and from appointments
- Accurately document observed behavior
- Complete household chores as needed (meal preparation, sanitation, etc.)

Qualifications:
- 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Drivers license (Must be willing to drive using a company-owned vehicle)
Training Certifications Needed:
*If hired for the position, group home will reimburse these certificates after 3 months of being with company if you do not have them*
- Article 9
- Prevention and Support (PROUD)
- CPR and First Aid
- Fingerprint clearance card
- Negative blood TB test result (from within 1 year of hiring)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
