Job Overview
Join us and be a part of the reopening of the country's longest continually operating soda fountain! Goolrick's is now open and in need of more Front of the House teammates, and we would love for you to join us! Full-time positions preferably, but can consider part-time as well.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service from order taking to checkout
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, sales, and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation tasks including assembling orders, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Clear tables, bus tables, and ensure the dining area remains clean, organized, and inviting
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or bussing duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage cash registers efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and balance tills at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest comfort
- Follow all health regulations related to sanitation, food safety, and workplace hygiene standards
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices including proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating flexibility and reliability

Pay: $2.13 - $20.00 per hour
