Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help bring clients’ visions to life, ensuring high-quality finishes and durable results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial installations, utilizing your carpentry skills and attention to detail.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct cabinetry and wood fixtures
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques
- Perform framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall installation as needed for project scope
- Measure spaces precisely for custom fitment of cabinets, doors, fixtures, and trim components
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, and fixtures with meticulous care for functionality and aesthetics
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, stucco repairs, siding replacement, and mold remediation when required
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinetry fabrication and installation within the construction or restoration industry
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machines, and schematics reading
- Strong background in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry or remodeling is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning when necessary
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in finishing work such as caulking, plastering, fixture installation, siding application or water damage restoration
- Valid certifications related to construction painting or handyman services are a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $25.35 - $30.53 per hour
