Location: New York City, NY (On-site, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $170K–$220K + equity
Role Overview:
Aaru is seeking a Business Operations professional to build and scale the company's finance and operations infrastructure. You'll work closely with the founders, own cross-functional operational initiatives, and create automations that improve efficiency in a fast-growing AI startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage business operations, including billing, vendor management, and internal systems.
- Develop SQL-based analyses, dashboards, and operational insights.
- Create automations (Slack integrations, AI agent workflows, ROI models) to streamline processes.
- Lead cross-functional projects across finance, operations, and GTM.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–5 years of experience, including ~2 years in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier consulting (MBB).
- At least 1 year in finance or operations at an early-stage startup.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building internal tools or automations.
- Quantitative undergraduate degree from a top university (MBA or engineering/CS background is a plus).
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate; passionate about AI and startups.
