Maintenance Technician 1
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week available, 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM Monday - Thursday.
- Compensation: $25-30/hr
- Location: Mountain Lakes, NJ
- Experience: 2 years
Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, performing equipment maintenance, and completing repairs on various equipment.
Duties and Responsiblities:
- General facilities maintenance, including filter changes, minor plumbing repairs, light replacements, and addressing potential safety hazards.
- Basic electrical work, general carpentry, and lawn care.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain schedules for facilities and equipment upkeep.
Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with handheld power tools; machine shop experience with a drill press is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Detail-oriented individual.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
