You'll support students with communication challenges under the supervision of a licensed SLP, helping them achieve their speech and language goals. - Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities
- Reinforce communication strategies in individual and group settings
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting updates to supervising SLPs
- Support teachers and staff in integrating speech and language goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders preferred)
- Active SLPA license/certification in the state of WA (per state requirements for school-based practice)
- Knowledge of speech and language development
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
