Jr/Sr High Cook prepares and serves nutritious meals to students and staff while strictly adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Position is nine months a year, 7:45 am to 1:30 pm daily.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

Safety Certification in ServSafe, as well as AEA Trainings required by the school district and food service director.

Must be able to stand for long periods, frequently bend, stoop, and lift heavy food supplies and
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Ensure meals are prepared, plated, and served within strict bell
-
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean & sanitary.

Make every effort to make every item served appealing, appetizing and nutritious.

Be responsible for the proper storage and economical use of all food items.

Be aware of and follow recommended procedures for the sanitary serving of food.

Assist with preparing food.

Assist with cleaning of kitchen and lunch tables.

To comply with all safety and health standards as set forth by the food service director, Board of Education, and State and Federal Regulations.

To assume such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the food services.
