TradeWise Staffing Group is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Foreman to lead commercial fire alarm projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, field experience, and the ability to run jobs from start to finish.
We are looking for someone who can lead crews, coordinate daily field activity, troubleshoot systems, and ensure quality work that meets project standards, NFPA 72 requirements, and local fire code expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead fire alarm crews on commercial projects
- Install, service, inspect, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Coordinate material needs, manpower, and daily production
- Work with inspectors, project managers, and other trades on-site
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code
- Support installation of fire alarm, security alarm, and voice evacuation systems
- Train, guide, and support technicians in the field
- Maintain strong communication with project leadership
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of fire alarm experience preferred
- Previous foreman, lead technician, or crew lead experience
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and local fire code requirements
- Experience with major fire alarm brands such as Gamewell, EST, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Ademco
- Ability to program, troubleshoot, inspect, and service fire alarm systems
- Experience with commercial, high-rise, and voice evacuation systems is a plus
- Able to work independently or lead a crew
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and production
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred
- Fire alarm certifications or related training preferred
