Iman Academy Southeast is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified full-time Elementary School Science and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and student growth. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality instruction while building strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality classroom instruction for elementary students in Science and Social Studies.
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with Texas academic standards and school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress while supporting individual learning needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive student behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Foster a nurturing, values-based learning environment that supports both academic and character growth.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited university.
- Texas Teaching Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Familiarity with Islamic culture and values preferred.
