Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our Vibrant, Christian Early Childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones.
Duties
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering and comforting infants to ensure their physical well-being and emotional security.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Engage in positive behavior management techniques to foster social skills and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that support cognitive, motor, and language development tailored to individual needs
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations related to infant care and early childhood education
- Complete DCF 45hr Training
- Pass a Level 2 Background Check
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Certification in first aid and CPR for infants and children
- Excellent caregiving abilities including nurturing, patience, and active listening skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices, including infant care routines and developmental activities
- Experience with classroom experience in daycare or nannying environments is highly valued
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
