Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Installer to join our high-performing installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of innovative, high-efficiency storage equipment across multiple locations and industries including healthcare, manufacturing, education and many others.
Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and customer specifications, delivering exceptional service and support. Position
- Status: Full time
- Hours - Monday to Friday - Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but can vary slightly depending on customer needs and other factors.
- Location: Home office in Emmaus, PA and customer sites within a 90-minute radius (no overnight travel required).
Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of equipment including modular buildings, automated storage systems, shelving, and vertical carousels and lifts according to manufacturer installation instructions and drawings
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on equipment in the field, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
- Read and interpret drawings to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Assemble equipment parts accurately, following detailed instructions and technical specifications
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and techniques; perform necessary repairs or recommend replacements
- Must be able to do physical work and lift up to 75 pounds
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining installation procedures, addressing questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Experience in construction (particularly commercial), equipment installation or related fields preferred
- Ability to read installation instructions and drawings confidently
- Strong assembly skills for setting up complex equipment efficiently
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system issues accurately
- Customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
Qualifications
- Must pass mandatory background checks
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
